Our process typically includes careful intake, inspection, digitization, file organization, and secure delivery of your digital files. Depending on the project, we may also offer light restoration, labeling, and backup options.

In many cases, yes. We can often preserve materials that show signs of age or wear, though results depend on the condition of the original item. We’re happy to review your collection and discuss the best options.

There is local pick up / drop off in the Bay Area. You can also securely package your collection and send it to us. We have a secure PO Box at the US Post Office closest to us.

Yes. Your original photos, tapes, films, and documents are returned to you after the preservation process is complete, unless another arrangement has been made in advance.

Turnaround time depends on the size of your collection, the formats involved, and the condition of the materials. Smaller projects may be completed quickly, while larger or more delicate collections may take longer. At the moment we have a 1-2 week turnaround time.

We recommend storing originals in a cool, dry, dark place using archival-safe boxes, sleeves, and folders. Avoid humid or high-temperature areas such as attics, garages, and basements.
